Krys, you have cursed me with bad battery luck.
I found myself in the mood to open up my old Double Eagle M9 (because it stopped shooting a while ago) knowing that I would probably achieve nothing. But, none the less I opened up the outer protective cover thing and look at the wires and the hop up and the safety and auto mechanism etc.... I push a few things around (being a safety thing and a wire) and put the battery in and try this bad boy out! And nothing!

. But, I did the same stuff, put the battery back in and try again. This time, after another nothing happening, I leave the battery in and keep adjusting stuff and in about 30 seconds the thing is burning hot! Not just the battery, but the entire gun! I can feel it going through the metal and plastic! So I pop it out with a flathead screwdriver and put it on a cloth and I could feel it through the cloth. This was 10 minutes ago, and it's STILL hot at 11:57 PM.
The only thing I knew about why it didn't work is that it was a connection with the battery, and now it seems like something blocked the flow of electricity and sent it BACK to the battery somehow. But, I honestly have no clue.
Ideas, suggestions, possibilites, or supernatural Bermuda Triangle relations with this are welcomed and needed! I want to know what's wrong with this thing!
