My next door neighbors were just arrested for playing backyard airsoft. because the cops thought they had real guns because they had their tips painted black. and to make it even better i saw one of them point their AEG at one of the officers.

a prime example of airsoft stupidity.

this might sound mean but.....GOOD FOR THEM. they're lucky they didn't get shot and killed. Its this kind of BYA stupidity that will ruin airsoft for all of us

yeah thats how people get shot the point the muzzle at the officers and they deserve it.

wow that kid is the luckiest kid in the world. That officer must have had the best day of his life. Im surprised he wasnt shot. He deserves everything he gets.

The only thing is, when stuff like that happens, Ive seen alot of kids (12-15 especialy) begin to follow the train of thought "The law doesnt want me to have any fun, screw them". Its the whole forbiden fruit thing, the danger of being caught makes it more desirable, since they know they arn't allowed to have it.

My point is that even though what they did is wrong, I wouldn't be supprised if they did it agian, I don't know them individualy, but alot of people my age or younger do things that are wrong, just because their wrong

Why the hell would you ever point the gun at a cop in the first place?
First reaction is shoot them before they shoot me, ya know?

Well maybe they didn't realize who was behind them andaccidentily pointed the gun at them.

thats what actually happened. it was a DE state trooper and there were kids playing with mock weapons in their backyard. and the officer goes around to check the situation there was a kid playing "Army" and then points the weapon at the trooper. and the trooper draws his weapon and fires. those are the dangers of mock weaponry.

Well my dads a Police Officer and he knew the State Trooper who shot and killed the kid.

this is the second arrest that happened this week due to airsoft

thats freaking rediculas

i wouldn't be suprised if they ban airsoft for good, if stuff like this happens continues to happen all the time.
