Another genius brings airsoft to school

Like the title says, another Darwin Award candidate brings an airsoft replica to school. But this time, the school doesn't overreact. (IMO)

Wow I was just there in Cadillac on tuesday. Good thing the school and all involed didn't over react. Morons like that put the hole sport in danger of getting outlawed.

well they found it to be more of a toy gun than a real gun. what's the point in bringing it to school though? Dont really know how they could ban Airsoft guns unless someone died by one; or shot themself through the eye or someone else through the eye. Hmm, maybe shoot the busdriver and then the bus crashes- Shoot the lunch lady and the bb goes into the food and later is the projectile found stuck in the throat of someone that couldnt swallow it.

See - the examples you made doesnt have to factually happen - but the mere fact that there is a possibility of that happening is what will put our hobby into the crapper.

Seriously, this sort of thing is getting out of hand. We need parents who have used the effective disciplinary lessons of the past, like isolating their children from all means of communication and entertainment, or locking them in the bathroom and not letting them exit for a certain period of time. I would even go as far as to say as to pull out a leather belt and snap it so that it sounds like a whip, but that's already child abuse....

The worst part is that things like this won't stop at all because of an airsoft ban, and they may very well go up. Its only those of us who follow the laws to begin with that will be hurt by it.
