As some remember, there was an incident during our first LVP south game about a month ago involving somebudy dryfiring a bolt action sniper rifle with no magazine in and no barrel cover/condom attached; well that person was me. The admins always told us to listen to the rules and to not break them, I listened and for some reason on that day I just...well i actually have no idea what I was thinking but I broke the number one rule and for that my airsofting days are basicially over. To this date I cannot describe how much hatred I have towards myself for committing such a idiotic act of pure stupidness. I wanted to appologize the next day but I was just to mindblown because of what I did.
To the admins---I would like to thank you all for what you did. I can't really describe the thought but its basicially a moment I will always look back to knowing the consequences that will follow. So now before I do something, I think back to what happened and realize that thinking before taking action really pays off. If that doesn't make sense i apologize, im am not the best person for "wording" a memory or thought.
To the players---I hope what I did sets an example to everybudy. What I did got me in alot of trouble and unless you want to join the group, I advise taking in every word the admins say to you. Its not fun being known as "that guy" and I hope this doesn't happen to anybudy else.
To *********----You did what was right and I have nothing against you if anybudy said that. I just want to apologize to you for what I did and if I did say anything, well I apologize for that to. If I did say anything I regret it and hopefully you understand that Im not the bad kid, I just did a stupid thing and I got what i deserved.
(I dont want to insert your name because I think that counts as "calling somebudy out" even thought Im not, cause your actually just trying to keep everybudy else safe.
Like I said before, I apologize for the actions I made and if anybudy has any questions, please ask as I have been waiting for a long time to get this off my back.
----To whoever gave me the positive rep the other day, I thank you as that gave me the courage to finially express how I fell about what I did. I thank you.
P.S----This is an apology post....not a "i feel bad for you" or "its okay"...whatever post. I just want to get this off my back and be done with it. I have no time left(school) so Ill leave it off here.
You guys finially set me straight and I am thankful for it. Great community, dont ruin it for youself by doing dumb mistakes like me.

Great apology. You are brave enough to come out in front of everyone and admit it. You have some great word of advise too; listen to the admins and all staff. I didn't, and I got banned.
Thankyou Patrick, I just wish it never happened, but I guess things happen for a reason.

I'm glad to see that you are mature enough to accept the responsibility and the consequences for your actions. There are people three times as old as you that are unable to man up and say "I screwed up."
Some people end up paying for a moment of stupidity their whole lives. Be thankful that this is a relatively small mistake in your life. Own it, remember it, and learn from it. If you do all of that, you may be able to avoid some other, and possibly more costly mistakes in the future.
Thankyou Lou, that ment alot to me and like I said, I will remember this so I dont make future mistakes in life. The 2nd paragraph you wrote was almost exactly what my mom said. Great minds think alot I guess?

I certainly see the danger of dry-firing, especially without a barrel sock on, but unless he was poitning the rifle at someone (was he?), maybe I'm missing something because is that a reason to be permanently banned? I just want to know so I don't make the same mistake.
Nobudy lost a eye. I was dryfiring, aiming at a tree next to a porto-potty. Even if it was dryfiring, its one of the biggest rules that was broken.

did this guy take someone's eye out, or is the extent of his "crimes" dry firing in the safe zone?

Guys, the situation was explained in his initial post. Whether or not he was banned though isn't really anyone else's business. Just follow the rules, they're there for a reason, and you should have no problems. That said, let's just let this thread be over and done with.
