AEG AUG HBAR custom

Just wondering what people think of my creation here. Trying to decide on an inner TB barrel that may work really good for it! Any other internals anyone would recomend for it?

And does anyone know what the demand for an HBAR is? Becuase I might start building these and selling them as a side business.

I think, this is a pretty cool creation. If it weren't for the fact that I dislike AUGs in general, I'd maybe even grudgingly admit it looked...good. All AUG-related joking aside, it's well-done and pretty "professional" looking. Not sure on the demand, but now that people know you're out there, who knows? Might get some orders for them.

If they made the real steel extended magazine (45-50 5.56 capacity) then it would be complete if thats what your asking, looks amazig though! Great job!

Yeah, that'd be pretty nice if they did make those! It would also be nice if they made that real steel after market stock that takes AR mags. Then I could stick a C-Mag on it.

I'm not sure in the Firearms world who it is that makes it. Started with an S I remember that, but a guy at the range had it for his MSAR 556. Currently, I have noticed, I need more mags for this little AUG project!

Looks good, but don't HBAR's have longer outer barrels? Everything looks really nice though, I know a friend of mine who might be interested in something like this.

A basic Steyr HBAR barrel would be longer, but I sort of went for the Call Of Duty MW2 look of it. (And with that, i'm on of those people who hate video game influenced airsoft stuff!) It's alittle bit different in that game, and that difference was something I new I could work with.

Flash Hider can be swaped for any 14mm CCW one, I just liked the look of the SVD one on it.

It looks really nice, but forgive me for a second. What exactly is different? It looks like just an AUG with a clamp on bipod. Maybe it's just the weird angle.

From what I can tell, what really differentiates the AUG from the HBAR, is the significantly longer barrel, extended magazine, and a very unique bipod. You've gotta get those three on there first before I'd really call it an HBAR.

Yeah, maybe HBAR isn't the proper term, more like just an airsoft "Support Rifle".

Belive it or not, that bi-pod is a heavy steel RPK sort of bi-pod, that the barrel needs to be machined a bit in order for it to fit. I've been looking into the longer barrel thing for HBAR's, and I keep finding standard size barrels, and longer ones. Apparently, the main difference with the assualt and heavy barrels wasnt length, it was just thickness. One being made for sustianed fire, the other is lighter and comes in more sizes then the 2 sizes the HB is limited too. The extended mags, if they sold airsoft ones i'd buy them in a heart beat!

Also, despite I tend to hate video game influenced airsoft, if you look at the HBAR in MW2, it's appearance in barrel size, and bi-pod style reflects this more, just i did away with the pointless carry handle.

see, but then you would have needed to get a railed version, then cut the scope off of a scoped version and attached the scope with mount on top of the rail making a goofy and way too high up scope effect.
Link to image displaying flaw in scope.

Yours clearly lacks this fault and therefore can not be COD Worthy. ;)

(unless of course i am missing something and the real AUG's are like this?)

All joking aside, i do agree with bracket. It looks like you just clamped a bi pod on it and ripped off the fore-grip.
