In another time, weapons safety would have come as common sense. The times sure have changed when you're afraid to go out for fear of being shot at. Terrible.
Also, firefighter, I agree with you about Fox News. A little accuracy would be nice and maybe a little less bias.

You need to understand that airsoft guns aren't arms. They can take your airsoft gun away if they want to, because t's not a fire-arm, it's just a toy.
actually the second amendment says that you have the right to bear arms. It doesnt say they have to be deadly. accoriding to m-w the definition of weapon or arms in this case is : something (as a club, knife, or gun) used to injure, defeat, or destroy. Injure.... the people in this case were injured by a weapon therefore airsoft guns are weapons or arms.... meaning we have the right to bear arms/weapons... airsoft guns. Every manual you get with an airsoft gun specifically says this is not a toy be careful, something along those lines. I understand how these kids could get their guns taken away but how could I. I am not violating the law by having it at my house. I didnt shoot those people and since this is a democratic-republic they can't take things away from you out of suspition you will do something. You need to have a justifiable reason.

By your logic a toaster could be defined as a weapon.
States and the Federal Government have very strict definitions of "arms". Airsoft doesn't fit the legal definition, so it's not protected by the Second Amendment.
If I'm correct isn't it considered to be a toy? Correct me if I'm wrong but still you should not treat them as toys, you should treat them as real firearms at all times.
