Building A 1911, Need Some Grip Help

Hey guys. I've got some custom 1911 grips made, and they're kinda just sitting around doing nothing (never got around to picking up a RS), so I thought maybe I'd just throw the grips onto a 1911 and get some trades laser engraved onto the slide.

However, I'm looking at the 5.1 hicapa style, and I'm wondering if they use a different grip system or not. When I look at the pistols in question, they've got one screw up top, while the standard 1911 has 2 screws per side for the grips. Do the hicapa styles use a completely different grip system, or am I okay with what I've got?

These are the grips I have, for clarification. While not specifically this model, here is at least a reference for what I was considering.

Appreciate the help.

The hi-capa grips are actually connected to each other, so the magwell and grips are one piece. The grips will not be compatible, but if you want a 1911 I recommend the WE for a cheap reliable one. I had one for a few years(broke a few weeks ago), put over 15,000 rounds through it(which is a lot for a side-arm) and i've dropped it off just about every rock at PL(not purposely). If you shop around you can get one brand new for $90-100. The second mag they give is a nice touch too.

Thanks. I'm still looking around at 1911's and similar models, but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out what does and doesn't use the standard model grips. I was hoping to find something a little wacky or silly (like the WE's with cut up slides), or even just different from the 1911 Government. If anyone has any ideas on what would work, I'd appreciate the input.

One of the reasons I like WE is they have a variety of cool pistols. Here are some that aren't normal plain govt. models that you might like:

Anything that uses a double stacked mag will have a one piece grip, so your grips won't work with them, which is why I only linked single stack mag pistols.
If you want the cut-up slide you could buy one of the hi-capa's with weird slides and buy a single stack WE pistol and put the slide on the single stack base. They're all compatible upper and lowers, so you shouldn't have a problem swapping them if you've got $200.

Also, shop around, alot of sites charge $120-140 for standard WE's but you should be able to find them between $90 and $110.
