Some of you people posting REALLY need to read the 1st post of this thread. People posting "I wanna be a member " Pick me I'm tacti-cool"
If you have YET to come out to a game or even try to peel your pants from from your chair. you WILL NOT be asked to be anything more then a Member of the C3 Spec Chairsofters. We may have to look into sending out some member invites for that group.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!
What happens if your a One Man ARMY?!!?! Just kidding I like the idea. Should bring people closer, also should help leadership skill in both the real world and airsoft world.
Aren't "ME" games what a Free-4-all are all about? I can't see how a team play could even work with people playing as lone wolves.
It doesn't. That's when the lollers get angry, because airsoft isn't like their video games.

It's not about leadership. God save us from all the thirteen year old generals!
The game is about teamwork and completing objectives.

Is this group and are the perks of this group still valid?
I would be willing to work more as a team not only to have the ability of being asked, but just because it is more fun that way.
I think working coopertivaley is a great idea, and being airsoft is all about objectives, It makes complete sense. Example: If your job was to cover the alamo's right flank and you drift and get two kills great, but you could have lost the match for your team.
I really like playing with objectives and have noticed, when I ask for covering fire so I can move up, only maybe 1 of 5 will actually help me. VERY frustrating.
Anyway I just saw this post, and I really like the idea of bettering the airsoft community!

Well I'm totally knew to airsoft so I would just like to involved with any team to teach me team tactics. As opposed to getting in a bad team with no tactics.
Wow, slow down there bud. Take the time to use proper grammar and sentence structure, 4th grade English level is all we ask.
There are player driven teams that you can talk to, but SpecOps is an invite only group outside of individual teams (re-read the thread for the details).
You also don't need a team, and if you feel that you do then the best way to pick one (or have one pick you) is to come out to the field and play with different people & see where you fit.

Well just check out the teams availible under User CP, and then group membership section on the sidebar. Then search for any threads pertaining to whether those teams are recruiting or not in the general forum. Just searching the teams name oughta do it.

This sounds pretty cool. Nice Idea. I haven't been airsofting out there yet but from playing paintball all I ever see is newbs playing rambo with their UBEREGOFANBOYSUPERGUNS

C3 "Special" Operations is having it's first gun giveaway for members of the group. The winner will be chosen from the group at random, and C3 Staff members will not be eligible to win. Drawing is on March 7th.
If you want to be a part of C3 "Special" Operations, stop playing airsoft like you play Call of Duty! Until then, toughski poopski. No free guns for you!
Gun purchased at Montgomeryville Army/Navy. They have them in stock for $385 if you want one.
great idea but I'm almost certain someone will put on a bs show to get in and act like an Ulra loller at the operations. Great idea though- I can't stand it when people act like COWA DEWDY geeks and run around with dual weilded SMGs

That is the reason why we as a group discuss about who is going to be invited and who is not.

Is there an obligation to be at all special opps meets if invited?
No. There is a requirement that you be active in the C3 community. This isn't for chairsofters.

We are actually pretty good at seeing through BS. It's very hard for a loller to act like he's using teamwork. They fail miserably at it. Also, you can't just use teamwork once and get in, you have to have a history of not being a boulder-hugger.
To show my great team work ability, the next time we have a castle game at PL. I'll made sure convince someone else charge down the road with me! Oh and do it with style.
