I bought a CA Sportline AK in april, and now, for some reason, it is not firing. I fully charged the battery but the gun made no sound when i fired. I checked if it was the battery by putting it in my friends gun, but it worked perfectly. Is it an easy fix or is my gun fried?
If you aren't hearing any sound at all, it could be a blown fuse, or a wiring issue. It could be a motor issue as well, but I'd look into the fuse/wiring first.

I've spent a good hour or two wondering why my gun wasn't working only to realize the fuse was blown, happens more than you'd think.

Finding them is easy. A local gas station might sell them as well as Walmart or hardware stores.
20A-30A fuses will fit, the lower the Amp rating the easier it blows, but remember if it DOESN'T blow when it should, then it isn't going to do its job, generally use the lowest Amp rated fuse that will work.

Find the fuse in your gun. <Hint> it will be very close to the battery connector. Usually it will be hidden in a black plastic fuse holder. (of all the places!)
Remove the fuse. It will be a glass tube with metal ends.
Take it to Radio Shack and tell them, "I need some of these." (Buy a pack of 5)
Replace old fuse with new fuse. It can go into the fuse holder either way. They are not directional.
Try the gun.
If it blows again, you've got something else wrong. <Hint> A blown fuse is the result of a problem, not the problem itself.
Serious note.....
Were your wires getting hot before your gun stopped shooting... Have you checked the the moter connectors etc fuse.... Are you actually doing what we are stating because more then likely this is electrical or unless somehow the trigger managed to disconnect from the switch.... Highly highly highly (99.99% sure is isn't that) doubt my last suggestion because it is a V3 gear box.... No way its a piston you'd hear gears move... Did you check the moter cage and make sure it is holding the moter into place.. Did the gun make any whining noises to its death.... Ever think your moter died.... Take your moter out and try it in another gun....
