Oh yes, I forgot, the police dont use plastic transparent guns with blue hand grips, only the army, the police are not cool enough.

Well I suppose it was dark and they could not determine they were clear. But still I guess the neighbors didn't like them or something, whoelse would have called the cops???

There are plenty of handguns that look like toys. If you're not expecting it, a clear plastic gun like that from a distance could easily be mistaken for a real firearm. He should be so lucky that he's only in jail and not taking a dirt nap.

Whats funny is during the report they actually handed the defense reason to have the case dismissed. They cited a law the prohibits carrying weapons that throw projectiles with 'explosive propellants'.

Secondly - this serves as a reminder to all of us - dont play in your neighborhood or what you think may be a secluded place. Some of us have experienced this so it pays to say it over and over again - always play in a sanctioned field.

Remember the circumstances. It was night and they were playing in the neighborhood. Dumb as it may sound - those cops reacted to the silhouette of a gun, for all intents and purposes they may not have discerned the clear plastic immediately.
