I got a great idea for a game, i could be very interesting to see how it would turn out...
There are two teams fighting...sounds normal so far right?
but what if on each team there was a double agent. Thats right, a mole. Hidden among the ranks of each team is one enemy double agent. So not only are you fighting the other team, your also figuring out who is the mole in your group, Yes thats right the guy you're in the bunker that your think is on your team with might very well put two rounds in your back when you're not looking. So you can't really trust anyone on your team. This goes for both teams since both have a mole on them.
what exactly does the double agent do?
1. kill any of the enemy that he's hidding amongst when the opportunity presents itself,
2. Maintain their false identy, don't make it obvious they are working for the other team.
(basically, don't just turn around and open up on team you're hiding amongst. show some kind of discretion)
3. cause as much confusion for their enemy hosts as possible.
After the two teams are divided up each team member pulls a piece of paper, the one with the mark is the double agent.
Of course the "dead men tell no tales" rule is very important in this game.
Conditions of victory. Kill the other team.
although i was thinking of killing the double agent a condition for victory but i don't know.
anyway tell me what you guys think.

I think that is a great idea for a game. It sure would be fun to be the double agent. You'd have to make it look like you're trying to kill the team you're REALLY on so they don't suspect you, but you also have to make it so that the your team doesn't shoot you in the midst of the chaos... Great idea.
I am liking this.
I think in a game like this, Red Dead Flag and no verbal "I'm out!" or "I'm hit!" should be used. Reason being... Lets say you pair up with two other players and you are the agent... you ask one of them to be Point Man. HeeHee. You are the rear guard. KNIFE KILL!!! KNIFE KILL!!! One , then two... AWESOME!!!
**Kinda reminds me of the Rainy Day @ LPball... 4-6 of us Knife Killed by Dave. Heeheehee.

Good point Shadow, i think after each match, each team should do another drawing and the new agent will then be decided, that way each match its someone different. Maybe if the staff like it and would allow, we can give it a shot at LP tomorrow?

Nope, they won't know so the agent has to be careful not to get killed by the team he's working for. Also there is a distance issue. The agent has to use alot of knife kills.

So, we tried this probably a couple a years ago now, and it worked with limited success. Here were some of our lessons learned:
1. This leads to A LOT of potentially unsafe engagement distances
2. If the players know there is a mole, they kill anyone suspicious
3. If the players do not know there is a mole, they get REALLY PO'd when they get killed by a friendly.
4. This required a lot more time to set up the missions than normal as every individual must be briefed separately (otherwise people would know who the mole is)
5. The mole can die in normal combat, and then all that effort is wasted...
Just some feedback based on past experiences.

Yeah I thought of the same thing when I read this, but this is a little different. The one we tried a while ago had the cops in there and it wasn't force on force like this is. It was designed as a complete mind-freak. The mole had to evade the cops and steal stuff and all the while not be found out.
Since this is force on force, no individual briefings are really needed, just general announcements.
But point 2 and 5 are very legit. The moles could be the first to die, thus kinda making the whole thing feel like a waste. And I'd like to add one more point.
6: Friendly fire pisses EVERYONE off. Especially, if it turns out someone guessed wrong.
Well i think part of to the moles job is to mess with his other "team members" to get them to distrust each other to the point where the team members wind up killing eachother. thats part of the whole confusion aspect. I think this game has alot of potential, we just need to hammer out the kinks

Actually Randy, we've tried this multiple time, on various occasions, and the one in particular I was thinking of was where either Possums or that other small kid back in the day was given the "priveledge" of being the mole. Unfortunately, when he killed someone on this team, they got even MORE PO'd because it was a 10 year old who killed them on their own team via what they thought was friendly fire... And otherwise it was a standard force on force engagement.

Why would people get upset about that, its all in good fun, each team knows they have a mole, they just don't know who it is. so what if that guy you were in the bunker with put two rounds in your back, cause he was the mole. Technically it wasn't friendly fire, cause remember he mole is working for the other team. And yes the mole might get killed by the other team, thats the risk a mole has to take. If you get killed by the mole who ever it is...so what. Remember guys its just a game.

Well, I would think you could try to keep the teams thin to speed the game up, and just add no respawns. That way, the mole doesn't have to worry about shutting up that one player they got, but at the same time, if you're killed you shouldn't worry about waiting too long.
