I have no words for how stupid this is. I don't think that there is a synonym for "stupid" in any language that can adequately describe what you are about to read.

As an officer myself, I have also had experience with a few very young airsofters playing in a small memorial cemetery which was located within shooting distance of the highway. To think that a shot was fired at/towards the cop though. All I can say is WOW.
In a word this is bull****! My best friend has 2 felony conviction for a BB gun he was goin to use on a thief. He DID goto the police but the politely refused to do much(if anything) about it. After being dipleased with the reaction he got he took a BB gun to work to administer some pain. SWAT ended up coming in and aresting him. The aresting officer is a real anus(His own son has a weapons cary tag because of him), and pubicly bash my friend as a compelete danger to sociaty.
I would like to say that this was a .177 cal BB/pelit gun and not airsoft. Also my friend like any poor person who loses over $1500 worth of stuff is not that dangerous to anyone other than the thief or thieves. The police's comment was "We're sorry but this isn't considerd and felony. We can not infest to much time in this." Which in Delaware is like saying "we won't help you cause your poor, and insignificant".

and actually, wouldn't poverty make someone even more dangerous? I mean isn't that usually one of the reasons people use when asked why people commit crime?
The topic is some dumb ass got a slap on the rist for shooting a COP. The other guy got a slap on the rist as well. My friend got jail time and 2 felonies for posesion(he didn't actually use his weapon).
Sorry bonus, but your friend, even if he was robbed and the cops wouldn't help him, should not have taken a pellet gun to work, especially with the intent to threaten or harm the theif. I don't blame them for arresting him or calling in SWAT or whatever, because that was incredibly dumb on his part.
Now, the cops not being willing to help him is a whole other issue, but regardless, you don't take an airgun to work to "administer some pain".

I never implied that he shouldn't have been arrested or anything of the sort... Although SWAT was unnecessary, bet hey what else do DE cops have to do. He will admit with all honesty that it was the stupidest thing he EVER did, crack heads and bricks are allot less costly. The point is my friend got legally raped and the 2 examples of stupid ***ENGLISH*** posted here got slaps on the rists.
I do not condone vigilante violence unless EXTREME circumstances require you to do something.
