We have enough guys running around with fake or repaired teeth. Why take a chance with your eyeball? Just think about shooting something like a grape with your AEG and you'll get the general idea.

All staff will always gladly walk someone back to the safe zone to defog.

As far as radios go, pretty much anything you find at any store will work just fine. There's a large gap in quality, anything more than your bubble-packed Best Buy specials suddenly is in the $150-200 range and you've gotta start learning things like MURS, GMRS, UHF duplexing, and other boring details to make an informed purchase.

Goggles should say ANSI Z87.1 stamped on the lens, or a similar standard.

TO answer Chaos's question on first aid training.

I am a emergency responder, wilderness emergency responder and usually have a well equipped people repair kit. I defer to snake medic, he is better trained and STAFF. There are others that are trained as well.

I apologize in advance for the necropost but it touches on an important subject. I'm nowhere near EMT-quality when it comes to medical emergencies but I have been certified numerous times and have a good exposure to first-responder situations (boy scouts, high school, and through the USMC, briefly). It's unusual for me to go anywhere without some sort of first aid kit, so I'll gladly help when/where applicable.

Thanks for the offer.

However, the point of this thread is that every player is responsible for ensuring the safety of ALL players. If you see something that doesn't look safe, please let the staff know and we will take care of it.
