I figured out what was wrong with my KWA M-9...

I know gas blowbacks don't come up quite as much in the repairs department. I played on at PL on the hottest day of the year back in July, the day were had the whole field to ourselves, and ran inot some problems with my one m-9. I have two fortunately. My brother left this out on the table in the sun and I figured that something inside warped from the heat because the slide wouldn't close the whole way when the mag was in and it would not longer work, just blow off gas. After disassembling this gun for the second time I figured out that the problem was the O-rings that seals the inside of the assembly(I don't know what it's called there is an assembly similar to a gas piston) inside the rear of the slide. I just pulled this appart and put the O-ring back into place and everything is all peachy again. I guess I should have taken pictures. Maybe I'll take the thing apart again at some point and post my fix. I'm sure I'm not the first person this has or will happen to so I though I'd share my experience.

nope it can happen, that is a flaw of the kwa/ksc m9's, another is the rear sight deciding to become airborne when firing.

you know what TJ, I have to admit, I'm impressed with how much you read about airsoft these days...... if you had read that much in college, you could have your doctorate by now...... hehe
