I have a KWC Taurus PT92. It gases up fine, but when i fire the first shot, all of the gas is expelled from the magazine. any suggestions on whats wrong?
Bad gas regulator in the magazine is my guess (again!). If not that, make sure you've got a full canister of gas you're filling from. Also, we had a thread just like this within the last 12 hours. Please use the search function next time.

sorry man, won't happen again. Guess i didn't look hard enough. I don't think its the mag though, I think theres a part inside of the lower half of the gun that is sticking for some reason. The gas canister I'm filling with is brand new, by the way.
Thanks Tom, but the hammer functions normally. I found what I believe is causing the problem. A piece is sticking, causing the pin that presses the magazine to release gas to stick as well, leaving the gas chamber in the mag wide open

That is what I was talking about, can you move it or is it completely stuck?
sorry, didnt see the word "internal" there...
I can move it if I take off the slide and press it with my thumb. Then it will snap back into the original position

In that case, the most likely reason for it sticking is probably just because it's dried out. Try and spray some silicone oil in there and see if that solves the problem.
Since propane lacks silicone oil, unlike green gas, every 10 mags or so you should lube up the gun, and put a few drops into the valve of the canister so as to prevent anything from drying out and causing wear on the internal components.
It sounds like its the firing pin in the hammer mechanism. The lower quality M9's tend to have a piece on the left side of the pin that cracks under the tension of it's attached return spring [unfortunately, you won't be able to see it without completely disassembling the entire firing mechanism]. Once that piece cracks, the spring has nothing to hold onto resulting in the pin being left incapable of returning back after the first time it it is primed, which discharges all the gas in your magazine.

Thanks, fightingirish, that seems to be it. Is there a way to repair this?
Yeah there is. The good news is that because it's common, it's a relatively easy part to find. the bad news is that it's an absolute pain to get into and replace. Granted, I haven't actually seen your pistol, so I can only speculate that this is the problem, although it sounds like it based on what you've said.
You'll have to completely disassemble the hammer/striker mechanism to replace the part. The thing to be careful of are the 4 -5 tiny springs inside there. If they are not positioned exactly how they should be, the will not work. There are, however, lots of extremely helpful guides and pictures on the intarwebz for this particular gun.
If you are still unsure about opening it up, you can always bring it to Old Man's or the Mont Army Navy store as well.
