The Good, The Bad, and the Stupid

First one, just hope US lawmakers are not up to speed on global events...

Deffinately falls under "The Stupid". Huh huh, but this means we all shoot "plastic balls".

Maybe I should add a "...The REALLY Stupid". I have to admit that I like the line, "They are supposed to be used for games in an adult-supervised setting. Not for target practice on another human being." At least SOME people take a rational view of some of this...

I would have thought in this "hypersensitive" age, there would have been more of a repercussion for this moron...

HAHAHAHAHAHAH! How do you MODIFY an Airsoft Gun to look like a real gun... Doesn't it Start that way!?

Okay first off its aready illegal to display an airsoft gun in public.. its considered assault of some sort due to it causes people to feel that their 'life is threatened' or something. granted that is a stretch and if someone really wants to get you but i personally see little to no problem with having a huge fine for displaying replica guns in public.

If that will 'save our children' then fine rather then then the guns banned period.

On another note i am so freaking tired of the fact that we as a society have lost our minds!! The kid never threatened anyone with the gun. He did however stupidly bring it to school. In the old days you were able to say 'well i know this kid wasn't trying to threaten or hurt anyone lets give him detention. Not arrest him and charge him with possession of a firearm. hell take it and don't give it back fine but seriously screw up the whole kids life?

We are no longer allowed to look at the context of an issue anymore or else you are discriminating fear is ruining this whole country and its stupid. Afraid of being sued. Afraid of being accused of discriminating. its stupid

oh so let me get this straight.
6th grade kid gets arrested for having a airsoft gun in his bookbag.
but
a high school student only gets a 25$ fine for shooting bbs at someone.
plus the high schooler had 3 offenses before that.

thats wrong on so many levels.

Almost all of these stories,
and most other incidents like them,
could have been avoided if the parents watched there children.

I mean if your going to buy a kid under the age of 14 an airsoft gun at least have control of: when he can have it, where he/she is going to go with it, and if there will be supervision there to watch him or her.

Quite frankly, its the parents that should be blamed for not been responsible enough to wait the things they brought into this world.

Airsoft shoudl not be sold al Walmart and such. Most accedents are caused by those who don't know much about airsoft and buy stuff at Walmart.

If someone bought a nice gub off the internet, chances are they take the sport/hobby very seriously.

Ya but then i wouldn't be in airsoft.
i mean most people probably start with springers. unless your parents, relatives, or friends are into the better stuff people wouldn't get into it.

i think instead they should just stop selling crappy weapons all together. Sporting good stores and places like walmart should get some AEGs.

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm all for stricter control of Airsoft weapons. Although, I'm not sure exactly how that could be done...

Well i think if a child is running around unsupervised with an airsoft gun then the perants should have to pay a large fine.

I bet that will cut back on retards running around and "ambushing" people

I agree. I read you need to be 18 to buy them, so untill they are 18 all blame/fines should fall back on the parents! that will stop all of it fast.

Bobo2017 is a frickin' idiot.
I'm 11, only I'm a responsible kid. I'm a geek for my age, I'm into computers, at 8, I could type without looking. I learned and actually a british survey even stated kids like that are more intelligent then ever. I'm a WWII expert, no tons of german, japanese, and american generals, all the ships for japanese, american, and some german. Knew the battles. Same thing on other things, if you play Xbox Live you find that most kids my age are so retarded. It all depends on the kid's responsibility and knowledge.
