gun problems

my brother purchased an A&K SPR mod0 and is having difficulties with it. It does not fire consistently and when the trigger is pulled it makes a high pitched ringing noise. we have tried using different mags without any success, if anyone has any recommendations or ideas they would be greatly appreciated because this incident has somewhat discouraged him and hurt his outlook on airsoft

Try adjusting your motor height. If that doesn't help, take it to Montgomeryville Army / Navy or Old Man's in NJ.

I'm sorry can you be more specific about the noise you're hearing? Is it really a ringing sound or more of a grinding/whirling sound? Does the gun cycle when the trigger is pulled?

If its a new gun that you bought you might be better off returning the thing and asking for a replacement.

See if you can return it. Its a shame that you got a lemon, but then again you got an A&K and there not the best in terms of quality. Hopefully it might just need to have its motor tuned. If thats not the case then you could have a stripped piston or gear. If you cant get it returned then take it to our store, or Old Mans and you will have a properly functioning gun.
