Hot wiring and fuse

Alright so yesterday I discharged and charged my battery up because I wanted to do some practice/ sight in my red dot sight.

So I took the battery out of the charger let it cool for about 25 minutes and plugged it into my gun, it started firing great than about a quarter way through a mag so about 30bbs the battery began to die...

I took it out and inspected it because I just charged it and everything so I felt the battery and it wasn't even warm. Then I touched the wires and noticed they were warm/hot. I found that odd because I fired so little bullets and fired them in semi auto. So then I went down the wire to the fuse... I opened up the little plastic protective case and touched it. Let's say it was HOT, I burned my finger pretty good.

After that I took my gearbox out to check if there was a problem with the motor or the gears and it was putting to much strain on the battery to move the piston back making it hot and everything, but there was nothing wrong.

Again my battery is fine works in my jg mp5 that shoots 360 even when it can't fire one shot in my ca p90 that shoots 323, but the wiring connections and fuse gets hot.

Should I just replace the wiring?

I doubt that the wiring is the issue.

It is probably a gearbox issue. You could have a broken gear, the piston could be stripped or you could even have bb's jammed making it so the nozzle can't push forward, jamming the gears.

I would be careful pulling the trigger for any extended duration while you have the problem as you could melt your wiring.
