Why exactly do you need to be shooting that hot? If you're playing in a CQB environment, then you're not getting any more range than lower power guns, or any more ROF, or better performance for that matter. There are people who sport guns way below the standard FPS limits in CQB arenas and absolutely rape.
The truth of the matter is when it comes down to it, it's usually the person handling the gun as opposed to the gun itself that makes a difference. Hell, I've seen people dominate with springers shoting 130 FPS.
As a matter of fact, you would probably see performance go UP if you used a lighter spring. Not only would the gears and piston teeth probably last longer, but your ROF might also go up a bit if your motor doesn't have to work to pull back a stiffer spring.
Not to mention it'd be much safer to be engaging people within 10 feet with a gun that shoots 300 rather than 349. Call me crazy, but 350 seems a bit high for CQB, no?
