I find more stupidity in the people that don't know what a real gun sounds ***DURRRR***, and what you get hit by.
But these are just irresponsible kids, plain and simple
My father is a brilliant man, partner at one of the largest law firms in the country, earned scholarships for his whole way through college & law school, graduated top of his class in highschool, college, and lawschool. Has never heard a gun fired up close, and doesn't recognise the gun shots in South Philly when he hears them. This makes him stupid?

Yes and no, he may be brilliant, but if you pulled your replica on him would he know the difference between the pellet and the bullet if being shot?
You miss the point.
Coeus is trying to say that there is a LARGE portion of the population that has NO experience whatsoever with firearms. It doesn't have anything to do with intelligence. Calling someone stupid for not knowing the difference between a firecracker, a backfire, a gunshot, or an explosion speaks more about you than the people you are attempting to malign.
those people just use those cheep clear springers from the sporting goods stores. since the low-quality airsoft gun did'nt cost much, they feel like its just a simple toy. also "they" think that they wont get in trouble for using it inappropriately, and whats even worse is that they post themselfs prforming those unsafe airsoft acts on youtube. ( even more unsafe than that fox news story).
You're new, so I'll let this go, but in the future, a 2-month old thread revival is considered a necro-post.
