More stupid people with airsoft guns

I'm telling you, it's mental midgets like this that will get airsoft banninated for good.

Idiot #1 and friend bring their airsoft guns to school. What can possibly go wrong? Their parents should be beaten with logs.

Idiot #2 does the same thing. This one gets charged with assault for threatening people with it.

Please please please PLEASE don't be stupid with airsoft replicas. Cops, and most other people for that matter, can't tell the difference between airsoft and the real thing. And it looks like the law doesn't make any distinction in some places, either.

There used to be a group of kids who played in the streets a couple blocks down from my house in Auburn. After I confronted them mid-game (which did nothing) I talked to the Auburn Police Officer in person (who knows about and supports Airsoft) about the kids playing in town and he put a stop to it before it got out of hand.

They banned BEER PONG!!! WTF is wrong with these ***ENGLISH***. The sale of airsoft weapons should be banned from local stores such as and store with "mart" in the title, Dick's Sporting good and any other store frequnited by little children.

the fact of the matter that makes this so bad is that a person has to be at least 18 years of age to purchase one. with that said the parents are also to blame because they are dumb enough to buy the children the guns and let them take the guns where ever when ever. i don't even think kids that young should have airsoft weapons at that age.

Do the parents not realize that they're the ones buying the guns for their kids? A 10 year old kid can't go to Kmart and buy one of these, legally. If the kids bought these, then the parents should be going after Kmart, but more importantly; themselves for not teaching their kids about these guns. Chump parents raising chump kids?

Wow....people are so stupid, I'm barely responsible enough to have an airsoft gun, I just barely fight the urge to shoot people. I don't, but the urge is still there. What moron of a parent would buy a 10 year old a gun?? retarded parents, I think we should ban retarded parents....(thats a joke by the way)

not to be disrespectful but if anyone has the urge to shoot someone, they shouldn't have one at all, unless you plan on doing it on the field during a game/skirmish...

Yeah I save it for the field, cause the urge only happens when I know I'm going to be playing soon. But I know where your coming from.

I just think about what i would want to have happen to me. if i got shot walking down the street i would be held overnight in county lockup for beating some punk down. save it for the game. and parents should know better then to allow children to have realistic weapons.

But fire arm safty isn't a required class in schools! How do you expect children let alone parents to know these things? I mean common sence is like a sin now a days.

Because it isn't hard to realize that letting your kids wave around realistic looking guns in public is a bad idea.

Unfortunately, they're still not getting it.

yeah ethon is right, I think with every gun no matter how crappy it is, should come a firearm safety manuel that is designed for A Parents for children under 18, B. People who are over 18 who own the gun.

XIII is an unknown quantity at this point
Then there are those people who use them to commit crimes because the look real. Just a month ago in Richmond, VA, there was a guy who tried to knock over a Baskin Robbins with a M4 AEG. One of the employees had a real steel and killed him. I think those people are more of a threat to the sport than the kids.

Meh, it's both really.

I think it boils down to in the media/politicians:
1 Child Death to accidental cop shooting = 30 convenience store robberies
1 child incident = 15 convenience store robberies

Perfect example is no one heard of the store robbery up this way, but the second story is from Michigan. ANd the reason is: it's about a kid, and they draw the attention more.
