Such a shame that this event is right next to me and I can't go... Any way what does it mean in the age restriction that younger players can play only with lion claws alumini? Any one want my dream of going to one of the ops come true?
Is this the industrial complex that Philly SWAT trains in?
not sure but if you do a bing search of linfield industrial park in pa and use the birds eye view, you'll see the AO.

fully on a case by case basis.
but mostly adult 18 and over players.
just to warn you don't be shocked about the price tag for a 3 day op. camping on site will be available also
it's going to be 150.00 for first timers 125.00 for veterans of OLCMSS
registration starts July 16th. looking to have 400+ players in 190 acres with 14 buildings. vehicles and wreckage for airsoft goodness.
what it is NOT -
it is not a continuous operation, there are scheduled breaks for safety purposes. usually play starts from 9am - 1pm then 1 hour lunch, game starts again at 2pm then play on till 7ish, then 1 hour dinner, 8ish - 11pm for night events depending on players.
then it starts again on sunday at 9am to 2pm then game done!

So i'll be 15 by the game. With a parents notification, will I be ok to play?
No. Read their rules.

What is the age limit?
Standard minimum age limit is 18. However, we do allow very mature underage attendees (Parental Consent Form must be signed and notarized) to participate with an adult guardian (must be a Lion Ckaws Series alumni) present (case by case).
You would need the form AND someone that has played at a LionClaws event before to vouch for you.
I heard they were going to use your place, but the risk of broken beer bottles was too high. Plus, it wouldn't be the first time there were 300 sweaty men in there.

I am very interested in this, but I was wondering, it says on the homepage that this is set at Neville Island Cement Plant in Pittsburgh?

On a scale of My Little Pony to Metro 2033, how post-apocalyptic is this game?

If my memory is correct from when went to Operation lightning strike the AEG fps limit was 375 with .25s. I will see if I can dig up the warnord that was sent out with the sniper and SAW limits.
Sorry for the Double Post my edit button does not want to work. I have found the warnord and the FPS limits are as follows.
AEG is 375 with .25
SAW is 400 with .25
Sniper Rifles are either 447 with .36 or 460 with .34 for 8mm rifles.
I hope that helps.

like lou quoted the age restriction is very very strict.
I know a lot of you are asking veterans from other lion claws events to vouch for them but i'm afraid they have to really know john or have been to more than just one event to vouch for other players.
I will call john again and ask him what he thinks. And even though I am working closely with both Greg and John with this event, i don't have that much influence to vouch for more than maybe one minor.
i will let everyone know because they are really looking for a high number for attendance. approx 400+ players for this one.
there may be some grey area for 17 yr olds but again i cannot say anything about this nor do i want to overspeak on their behalf.
just be patient.. more information will be released this week as registration will start on JULY 16.
what i would suggest is that you go to the op lion claws forums and get a lot of the information there it would streamline this question process immensely for you.

Hi! Have we met? We're C3, we take lazy to a whole new level.
Wow, the place has been abandoned for 24 years. Interesting history. If you visit google maps, search Linfield, PA. It appears to be on Main St. before the bridge on the south side of Main St. Unfortunately, no street view. You can street-view the entrance.
I'd be concerned that some of the buildings are very close to the road, and homes along it. Also, I'm not sure if that's a farm east of the buildings, or how much of the south woods would be playable.

they do police trainings in the area so it's nothing really new to the surrounding houses.
remember they have been doing this for a long time and wouldn't be that irresponsible not to tell the surrounding civilian homes that there will be airsoft in the industrial area.
again, if you have strong concerns go to the lions claws forum and post your questions there... at least you'll get a better more knowledgeable response..
I have to ask, how grey is the line for 17 year olds? Or are we talking black?

This isn't OP: Irene, I'm sure there will be a little window of opportunity for you to get your registrations in.
You're right. I was thinking this would be the same as OP: Irene. Sorry about the wrong info, guys; I should have looked into that more before I posted.
