Operation: Forlorn Hope
Events surrounding conflict: Vladimir Putin in a bold move declares himself dictator for life and subsequently begins killing all those in a governmental position to oppose him, including the new President of Russia. The U.N. responds by condemning this action and authorizing the United States to invade, capture Putin, and restore democracy. The U.S. begins it's action by sending in a force of 20,000 U.S. Marines, and the
160th SOAR regiment to take immediate ground near the Ukrainian border.
Scenerio: A Marine Force Recon (MFR) squad is cut off in a near by village and completely surrounded by an Elite force of Putin's best Spetznaz units, 5 of them to give an idea of proportions. J.O.C.C. (Joint operations Command center) has ordered two near by squads, in this case 9 marines, to join together, retrieve the marines, and get them to extraction, using any means necessary so that J.O.C.C. may debrief the squad.
Initial numbers: Sides start out with more men on the Russian Spetznaz (remember MFR is surrounded and cut off), for this purpose I will use the numbers of 14 Marines on 20 or more Russians, though larger numbers are preferable.
U.S. Marines start out with 5 of them in the castle (I envisioned Poco Loco for this one as I've only ever played there) and the other 9 of them either at the Chopper or near the chopper. The chopper is the U.S.'s re-spawn point. Each of the 9 marines gets 5 respawns. The Marines inside the castle only get 3.
The New Russian Federation of Vladimir Putin's awesomeness :) starts out with 14 as well, but they must set up surrounding the Castle. They have 2 re-spawn points, the Guns of Navarone, and a similar place that is close, haven't figured that one out yet. Each Russian Spetznaz has 5 respawns.
U.S. Marines Objective: At least 1 MFR Marine must make it back to the chopper. The marines must extract the MFR from inside the castle, bring them back to the chopper and then hold them inside the chopper for 5 minutes, if they are able to do that and keep at least one MFR marine alive, they win the game. Remember only at least one MFR Marine must stay alive, if everyone else is killed and one MFR Marine manages to stay alive in the chopper for 5 minutes, the Marines still win. However, the MUST stay inside the chopper for the entirety of 5 FULL minutes.
Russian Spetznaz Objective: Kill all the MFR marines , and you win the game, that simple.
Ok, so that's my idea, little rough around the edges maybe but, it's my first attempt at making my own scenario, tell me what you guys think about it
