p90 battery mod.

Hey I was looking around you tube and I found this video

I was just wondering if you think this is safe and if it will work long or just run out in 2 secs.
also will it work with any gun?

Well, it works for an LPEG, I wouldn't imagine it to work well with a higher end gun. I imagine it would lack power. I suggest you stay with whatever rechargable battery you have now. It's not worth the rewiring you'll have to do.

He is increasing the voltage it would be much safer, more productive, and just all around be better to buy a lipo 11.1v, a 10.8v, or if you wanted to go to this extreme a 12 volt but, increasing voltage decreases gun life don't do it unless you have previously upgraded your internals such as steel gears a titanium gearbox and upgraded piston and cylinder and such....

If I'm not mistaken, there already is a "larger" battery for the P90, but it requires some modification to the plate that holds the mechbox in place.

By modification, I mean like 90% annihilation. This is the mod - Linky. They even sell the batteries in that shape so you don't have to do it yourself - linky.
