Plate Carrier??

Hey guys I have a quick question,
I just got this vest and I have a few questions. Does this count as a plate carrier and make me able to take 2 hits to the chest? OR I need to get the side plate pouches like this? My vest does have the pouches to put the plates in but do I need to put real plates in my vest, or can I just put cardboard, or even better just leave it empty?

It's not a vest, it's a plate carrier it even says it in the name. You don't need to put anything into it. So yes it qualifies.

Although it is a plate carrier, it looks like it won't hold up long for you. Good luck with it.

Yes it will count as a plate carrier as that is what it's called. You could take one extra hit to the covered body part, so not in the sides, as that isn't covered.

Thanks guys, I know it had plate carrier in the name but it also had ready right before it. Which confused me and I didn't know if I needed anything In addition to the vest besides plates, and the other vest which was made by condor had the side plate covers but did not have the ready in front of it. So I was confused. Anyway thanks for helping me.
