Many of you saw pictures of the new jail-break field that PL Jeff was showing around today. Looks like a great field to play on, but the field fee for airsofters is going to go up when the field is completed.
I just gotta say this...we better get the chance to play on the field when the paintballers are there, if we have this raise in price.

Where is this new field going if I might ask, I'm not much of a regular lately.
Where the speedball field is now.
It's going to be great for a "pistols only" game. I doubt there will be much CQB with rifles, as most of the players are shooting over 350 FPS, so that obviously isn't happening.
So, we need to do the following:
Create an awesome CQB rifle that shoots Marui stock~ish (CQB rules haven't been finalized yet)
Build a practical CQB pistol loadout.
Buy a CAW revolving grenade launcher and a big-ass speed loader!
Please don't ask if your 400 FPS CO2 microweenielolpistol will be allowed, because I'm telling you now that it will not.
I'd say use the same rules that Old Man uses for his warhouse. They would need some minor changes due to this field being outside than inside. But just think about it. Also ask Walt if we could use the same rules he does, if you wanted to of course.

You are talking about the field across from chrono, right? If that's the one, I'd be concerned about the airsoft BBs passing right through the mesh and into the safe zone.

They are going to double-up the mesh. If that doesn't do it, they will triple-up the mesh.

This is awesome, I dont mind the price hike if we get a new cqb field! I smell shotguns and gbb's galor, oh and of course TOPH with a grenade launcher of some sort haha.
I'm not thrilled about the extra 4 dollars but its definently worth a new field.

$20 for a whole day of fun! Where else are you going to be able to do that? Even though I have never played, it seems more than fair IMO for PL to raise the price, especially for airsoft. Other than the "entry" fee, they dont really make any money of the airsoft group, where paintball they have the paint sales.
As it says in the title - in July. Since we don't play every day in July the only conclusion that can be drawn is "Immediately After the last gameday in June"

I dont really know the area you are refering too so I dont really know how big it actually is, but in all honesty any cqb at PL is worth the hike I think that would just be all out great fun.

Short answer: Yes
Long answer: It will be CQB, and you will get shot up close. There will be new rules to deal with the nature of CQC, so it will be safe.
It's the netted in area opposite the chrono station.

Ok cool, I was hoping it was gonna be cqc. The close up shooting isn't to much of a concern for me I know the future rules will stop anyone trying to fire close to real bullets. On a side note....PUMPED for a cqc field to play in on the weekends I was actually wondering if LVP had a cqc.

lvp south has 1 indoor speedball field and 2 outdoor speedball fields with 1 hyperball field that contains large wood spools and large plastic piping cut in half. As of now they dont have airsofters on them but maybe in the future they will allow airsofters on the hyperball field. Just my .02 cents

I just installed a Prometheus M80 in my G36C. It's pulling around 275 fps, would it be allowed?
I'm hesitant to issue a definite "Yes" since we haven't hammered out a specific ruleset at this time, but the probability of that gun being allowed approaches 1.
