Horray!!!! I think news reporters agencies here should do that. I think its time people saw airsoft for the sport that it really is, and not something evil.
"Darth Vadar style masks" Id never have thought to describe a PB mask like that. Its good to see something positive about airsoft in the news rather than the normal "he shot at a cop, ban it now!"
I don't think they look too much like Darth Vader masks.

I wonder if maybe we could have the news go to a game at LP or something like that. I dunno but i think it would be pretty cool to help people see airsoft in a more positive view.

I'm not sure why P7hk9 said no but I think it would be a gamble having a reporter come to an airsoft game. I think this because the media is known to twist and turn things to make an interesting story, and it is possible that although this story had a positive spin, things could be sour for our story.
On to the main topic. I was delighted to read that article! I am happy that there is finally some good news about airsoft and not the bad news where you hear about a twelve year old kid being shot by police.

You're right about them possibly making it negative. They could say we're a bunch of mean stupid losers that swear a lot that just like to shoot people.
Yay, someone who doesn't hate airsoft!
The one think I took issue with was that they said that all the participants are cops or retired military, all with combat experience. I forget if it was Lou or Jeff, but they told me something a while back that stuck. "They fight wars, we play with toy guns on the weekends."
