Just a fun project I took upon myself today. DOES NOT FIRE
ANYTHING. It's nothing more than a prop.
Here's what I used.
3' of 1.5" thick PVC Pipe
3 PVC threaded nipples (not exactly sure what they're really called)
1 vertical foregrip
1 funnel
1 trigger/grip from a springer pistol
2 San Pellegrino plastic bottles
1 can of Krylon Brown
1 can of Krylon Camo Black
1 can of Krylon Camo Olive
1 can of Krylon Clear Coat
1 bottle of Gorilla Super Glue
2 ring clamps
Total cost: Roughly $40, mostly because of the paint. If I made more, I could probably do them for ~$22 each instead.
It assembly is pretty easy to figure out.
Paint the rear end of the tube brown, as well as your foregrip and the threaded nipples. Once dry, slide the nipples onto the tube and glue in place. Stuff the funnel down the back, and glue that in place as well.
Take your two San Pellegrino bottles, and cut them at about the middle. One should be longer than the other. Glue them together, this will be your rocket piece. Paint them.
Glue your vertical foregrip to the pipe, at the end of one of the nipples. Place your pistol grip just a few inches ahead of it.
Once your 'rocket' has dried, just glue that in place too. You can also use tape to secure it, and paint the tape.
I haven't gotten around to the sights, but I'll probably use a cheap red dot sight from a $10 springer. Mine might be a bit longer than the real thing, but I used pictures for reference. You can always make yours shorter before you start working on it.
