Re-wiring a CA.

I was looking at my CA CQBR rifle, and was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to re-wire the weapon to the front, through the RIS like the TM m4's, so that I can use an external battery pack (say a PEQ-2 replica). I like using the CRANE stock, but the battery inn the stock limits the adjustment of the stock. Thanks for anyone that can help.

RE: Re-wiring a CA.

if you do not want to soder it, you could use a tight twist and electrical tape, but i would def say you should soder, talk to coogar, he rewired his CA crane stock and has a connector in the back for the crane battery, and one in the front end for a mini. or nunchuck

RE: Re-wiring a CA.

Why can't he just get the battery cable from a TM M4? Don't they all use a small Tamiya connector?

RE: Re-wiring a CA.

no you can't do that because it has to be connected directly to the switch, only room for soder, not electrical tape.
