Yeah same here, I dont move that much but I am a gear hog. Im the guy that sits behind a rock the whole game with 11 highcaps and 2 batterys and goes threw them ALL.

It originally referred to the real special forces types- deployable anywhere with little notice and little logistics, referring to both the unit and the person.
It's all tongue in cheek now anyway. I've been sportin' the high drag-low speed sig for a few years now in solidarity with my other fat, lazy brethren. There's a big gulf between the "looks ok, feels comfortable, and works" side of equipment and "it says tactical on the label and a seal team is rumored to use it so I have ten of them"
