Enjoy playing with C3? Want to take a more active roll? Know someone who would be a great staff member? Then it's a good thing it's
STAFF ELECTION TIME!
The concept is simple, YOU, the community, will elect 3 members to become Staff. This is
not a figurehead position, this will be full blown Staff, and you will be expected to carry your weight.
Those elected will be tasked with:
Becoming part of the governing council that makes up C3. Which will include
- Helping maintain rules and safety on the field
- Helping develop Big Games and Events
- Helping moderate the forums to continue the standard we have set here at C3.
- Helping decide the future of C3Airsoft
The process will be as follows:
1) In the
nominations thread, you will NOMINATE (yourself included, if you feel so inclined), members of the community you feel will make GOOD staff members. There is no limit to amount of nominations you can make.
Those who accept nominations are encouraged to actually campaign for the position (in the off topic forum).
We want to hear why you will make a good staff member. What will you bring to the table? All forum rules will still apply.
How do you accept nominations? You create a campaign thread in the Off Topic forum. (You must be nominated in the nomination thread before creating a campaign thread.)
2) On December 30th
(12/30/09), we will have the election. There will be an anonymous poll in this forum. The 3 names with the most votes, will be promoted to staff and begin duties on January 1st, 2010.
The Term for the election is 12 months.
Now, of course, there are a few catches.- YOU MUST have good standing on the field. (If you've been permabanned from the field, you are not eligible for elections.)
- YOU MUST be expecting to be in the local area (Pennsylvania/NJ/Delaware) and be attending games for the next 12 months. (If you're moving out of the area in the next 12 months, you are not eligible)
- YOU MUST be able to attend at least 25% of the games for the term. (If you are a chairsofter, you are not eligible)
