I'm surprised that both charges are misdemeanors. I'm also thinking that the consequences for such stupid actions should become greater. This might deter kids from doing this type of stuff.

This is a shame. Airsoft is a good sport and these people are ruining it by getting themselves shot. All the more reason for airsoft to be banned. I just wish that people weren't that stupid.

Dont rely on an orange tip to save you.
Its just as easy for criminals to put an orange tip on a
real gun as for us to take one off of our toys.
If you have your very real looking weapon out in public
then expect people to react as if it is in fact a real weapon.
