V.I.P. Recovery- Operation:Dove Liberation
SITREP:
Last night, an unnamed band of terrorists broke into a hotel and kidnapped the U.N. ambassador for the newly formed country of Bugela (recently part of Russia) scheduled to speak on nuclear disarmament. Without this calming and influential ambassador present, the debate could end up with tempers flaring, and countries grow with hatred for one another, with their fingers on their nuclear triggers. The BRIC (Bugelan Reconnaissance and Intelligence Center) has picked up a distress beacon from the ambassador's built-in tracking chip, sewn into his/her clothes. Since Bugela is still in its infancy, it has asked the U.S. SOCOM forces to aid in rescue of the ambassador. They will also provide an English translator for communication with the ambassador. The CIA has also confirmed that Ishkrev Malachi, the terrorist mastermind behind this plot and rouge organization, is among the assailants demanding the exponential ransom. Capturing him and bringing him back alive may provide both the BRIC and CIA with important and invaluable information. All terrorists are expendable, but little is known of this terrorist group, having the knowledge of Ishkrev could help both organizations terminate this dangerous terrorist group. In 48 hours, the ambassador will be executed if the ransom is not paid in full.
Team Setup and "Health" Statistics:
Team Proportions:
U.S.A./Bugelans and Translator: 60% (of participating players)
Terrorists and Ishkrev Malachi: 40% (of participating players)
Note: The Ambassador is team neutral and should be counted as niether team, but starts among the Terrorists. When dividing teams, decide ahead of time who will be the Ambassador.
Unit Health System Breakdown:
Regular Unit: U.S.A./Bugelans: 3 downs
Regular Unit: Terrorist: 4 downs
Translator: 2 downs
Ishkrev Malachi: 2 downs
Ambassador: 2 downs
Health System (Medic Game Variant):
Once a player is hit, they are considered "downed". They must kneel on the ground and wait for a team member to come up to "revive" them. This can either be done by tapping the player, or giving some kind of visual marker (i.e. a gauze bandage tied on an arm). When waiting for a revive, a player may not shoot at other players, and other players may not shoot at them. Once a player has expended all of their downs allotted to thier "rank" (see Unit Health System Breakdown) they are considered "killed" and must leave the game. IMPORTANT: Friendly fire casualties count as one down.
Game Rules:
Objectives:
U.S.A./Bugelans: Primary: Protect and extract the Ambassador from hostile territory at any cost.
Secondary: Capture Ishkrev Malachi for further interrogation.
Terrorists: Keep the Ambassador from leaving. We need the ransom!
Rules Governing Victory:
U.S.A./Bugelans: Get the Ambassador out of hostile territory, and wait for the round to end.
Terrorists: Keep the Ambassador from falling into enemy hands. If it happens, get the Ambassador back as soon as possible.
If the Ambassador dies: U.S.A./Bugelan forces MUST capture Ishkrev Malachi alive, and terminate all other Terrorists, or the Terrorist team wins.
Round Duration:
Minimum: 1 hour
Maximum: 48 hours
Additional Rules:
-The identities of both the Ambassador and Ishkrev Malachi are known to both teams, but the Translator's identity is only known to the U.S.A./Bugelan team.
-Only the Translator may communicate with the Ambassador. If the Translator is killed, the communication between the U.S.A./Bugelan team and the Ambassador is cut.
-The Ambassador may be offered a pistol (and only a pistol) but the Ambassador is encouraged to refuse a wepon, unless they can be convinced effectively that they need one.
-In order to capture the Ishkrev Malachi player, you must be 25 feet or less from the player, and give a chance for surrender. If the Ishkrev Malachi player is downed, but waiting for revival, a U.S.A./Bugelan Unit can tag the Ishkrev player and capture them that way.
-The Ambassador may not revive players of either team.
