[Hopper]

Just bought the VFC SCAR L. Just wondering if anyone knows about the hop up in this gun it seems to not be very effective. Would you recomend getting a new one?

I personally like putting (and recommend) a systema bucking and PCS nub in all my guns regardless of how they perform stock (except TM).

I'm assuming the PCS nub is just the SCS nub but made by Polar.


Anyway, I've used the systema bucking and Concave Spacer combo and I did not really like it one bit, as the solid plastic just seemed to reduce the velocity of the BB. Sure, it was better than stock hop up but I was much happier with a stock nub and firefly soft bucking, I guess it is whatever you prefer though.

I found that a madbull tightbore, systema bucking, and scs nub gives me about the same FPS as stock but much better precision and hop up.

This is ideal for me as I'm at 385 fps and I'm pretty sure a firefly with tight bore would easily put me over 400.

Plus, don't the firefly wear down pretty fast?
