VSR 10 bucking compatible with L96?

I have seen that the vsr 10 bucking from firefly and nineball actually are compatible with the l96 series guns if and only if you cut the little tab off the top of the bucking.

I was just wondering if anyone else has heard this or if anyone has tried this...

Someone told me that all spring guns use the same bucking as gas pistols, but I never actually confirmed that. You might be able to use the VSR bucking in the L96 by sanding that tab off, but I wouldn't be able to confirm it, just hearsay.

I just searched and some people even said you could use an AEG bucking, but then some people say no. My advise would be go on some place like Airsoft Forum and ask the question, someone might know.

I have tried to use a aeg hop up but the little slit that aligns the bucking in line with the barrel is on the bottom not the top so you can't fit the bucking into the chamber...

I used my CA hop up and it didn't work... I really want to just buy a pdi hop up and new barrel because this hop up system is a B****

The question still stands.... I am going to email a few people to see if I can get an answer if knowone here knows

You could always call Leapers and order a UTG replacement bucking and stop running in circles. False HERESAY info will only have you left with a headache.

If you have the $$$ Buy the PDI hop up and a AEG barrel and AEG bucking.
As I said before ,If you are tight for cash, get the PDI hop-up and that cheap JBU barrel for $30 that I have been using in my L96

This is very good advise, and Airsoft Atlanta has them in stock now, which is pretty rare. If you want a new hopup system and have the money, get it while you can.
